Dexter believes anything that lands in his mouth is his to keep … even the spoon that delivers the food.  He’ll hold it like this until he gives me a little yell for not putting more food on the spoon.

This is a habit we need to break soon, but in the meantime the spoon chomp-down is keeping us quite entertained!

Dexter has had so many milestones in the last 8 months, it’s about time he celebrate someone else’s.

Dexter says, “Happy 75th Birthday, Great Grandma Carol.  I love you!”

Those words are a direct translation from bahbahbahbahbahbah.

Block Tower

I came home the other day to find this beautifully constructed tower.  I was sure it solidified Dexter’s future as an architect like Mommy … until I actually saw his interest in the tower.

Maybe, instead, Daddy should pick up a minor in architecture while at med school.

The jumpy jungle gym is by far the longest-standing form of entertainment for Dexter.  The spinning lizard and pop-up tiger just never get old!
