Dave captured this photo when he was playing with Dexter. I think it might be one of my favorites. There’s something so innocent and comfortable about the photo, as if the camera wasn’t even there.

Dexter believes anything that lands in his mouth is his to keep … even the spoon that delivers the food. He’ll hold it like this until he gives me a little yell for not putting more food on the spoon.

This is a habit we need to break soon, but in the meantime the spoon chomp-down is keeping us quite entertained!

I came home the other day to find this beautifully constructed tower. I was sure it solidified Dexter’s future as an architect like Mommy … until I actually saw his interest in the tower.

Dexter just learned to give kisses.

He is excellent at making a “kissy face” but when he wants to give a REAL kiss he grabs two fistfuls of hair and doesn’t let go until his big goobery kiss has been planted.
