Despite all the work we put into the Dragon Party, the School Party totally trumped it!
We had the most wonderful afternoon at Dexter’s school while his teacher talked about what it meant to complete 3 years. After we shared Dexter’s story, his friends gave him a special card they made and then each one took turns saying something nice to him … I lost count of how many “Te quiero” and “Te amo” were said!

Every Sunday morning Reforma (one of Mexico’s largest boulevards) is closed to cars and open for bikers and pedestrians to enjoy. We let Dex join the biker crowd, now that he is a little biker pro!

The month of October was filled with lots of family visits with trips to Milwaukee, Cleveland and Oshkosh. But after we got home this week, all Dexter could talk about was his Great-Grandma Carol and his Great-Grandpa Gene!

Dexter got an extra special celebration at daycare yesterday. We sang Mexico’s Happy Birthday song (which, after 5 years I still cannot remember all the words … unlike ours which literally only has 6 words) AND the U.S. Happy Birthday song.
He even blew out his own candles, sort of.

Christmas is over, but I thought I’d share Dexter’s last night with the Christmas Tree.
We got into an adorably cute routine of us doing a countdown to turning on the lights and Dexter screaming PRETTY!

When I got home from work tonight, Dexter WALKED over to me to give me a hug.
