We are anxious to see if Dexter will be a lefty like his daddy and Grandma Renee … or a righty like the rest of the world. So far it’s looking like lefty. He is just starting to grab objects if we put them in his hand. He can hang onto to things by himself in his left hand, but still needs help with his right.
On a side note, we were trying to make the sounds for the animals on his jungle gym but are at a loss for what noises an elephant or giraffe make. We were thoroughly entertained while we tried various noises … but, none seemed quite right. And now I am certain Dexter thinks he has crazies for parents!
left handed people are more clever and artisitc….just saying.
“lefty” or “righty” he is just adorable!! You too, Dave.
Let us not forget that left handness is a gift; for those who are lefties are truley more intuitive, creative and artistic. Great Auntie Paula is also a lefty! So is Grant!
I agree! Left handness IS a gift, and those who possess it have a great ability to engage in abstract thinking, excel in the fine arts, etc But with parents like you guys–either hand, he will have those abilities anyway!
