Accident-prone, clumsy, bad luck … call it what you will, but the Izquierdo family got an extra-large dose of it, and apparently it didn’t skip a generation.

Dexter is still trying to crawl and while he can move his knees, he hasn’t quite learned that it is essentially his arms that will move him forward.  Yesterday, he was moving his knees back and forth while leaning forward (without moving his arms) and did a nose-dive straight into a wooden puzzle.

The result is a giant bruise on his cheek.  I feel a panicky need to explain to all the disapproving eyes that no, I did not punch my baby in the face.

Ironically Dave was in the hospital while this took place.
