Today is Día del Niño, or Children’s Day. I really don’t know the origin of the day or how we are supposed to celebrate our children any differently (or more) than a regular day.
Maybe it just means more ice cream and time at the park?
Either way, it is a big deal here in Mexico. The daycare was closed today (perhaps as a final reminder to all parents that TODAY is all about your baby) so they celebrated on Friday.
All the teacher’s dressed up as Disney characters and the kids did a special project with lots of colors, marshmallows and cookies.
I do not think Dexter is impressed with the duck.
If open Disneyland Mexico, I’ll be sure to visit 🙂
