A few weeks before Day of the Dead, Mexico City hosts a huge parade down Paseo de la Reforma in which various groups and organizations can showcase their Alebrije, which is essentially a fantasy creature.  The alebrijes are painted the most brilliant colors with incredibly detailed patterns.

The parade was a huge hit for Dexter, he clapped and cheered each alebrije that passed.
