Mexico’s Independence Day begins with “El Grito de Doloras” (the cry of Dolores) at midnight on September 15. Dexter’s and Alex’s school is requesting that all the kids dress up in traditional Mexican costumes to exchange traditional candies for Tuesday.
We did a dress rehearsal of the costumes to make sure everything fits (it does!) … only one problem – Dexter really does not want to wear the matching sombrero. Here’s to hoping he changes his mind for school on Tuesday!
