Dexter’s class had a New Year’s Party!

We all went to the park, colored pictures, talked about our favorite events of 2013 and sent our New Year’s resolutions off in balloons.

Unlike Alex’s class, where all the kids were fascinated by the colored balloons floating up in the sky, Dexter’s class completely melted as they watched their balloons floating further and further away from them.  Fortunately I found a slighted deflated balloon on the ground and let Dex hold onto it while he released the other one.  I can proudly say he was the only one not in tears after the event!
