In Spanish, the word for baby girl is “nena”. Dexter seems to like that word better than baby, so we have been talking about Nena a lot the last few weeks.

This game of catch went on for about a half hour, Dexter was equally excited each time he rolled the ball to me!
I’m not sure I remember the first time I learned to played to catch. Such a simple game – I’m happy, at least, that I can witness just how fun it is for a little person to discover.

Crawling

On Monday, Dexter finally took his very first crawling-in-a-straight-line steps!
For months he has been getting around with his awkward move of scooting/rolling/sitting. (here) (here) and (here) And his new milestone achievement certainly didn’t come without a few bumps and bruises (here).
