The coldest it gets in Mexico is about 40 degrees (above 0) … and even that is only at night and early morning.  However, most everyone is dressed for a blizzard when the temperature dips below even 60.  To avoid the disapproving eyes of my fellow mothers on the sidewalk, I fully participate and dress Dexter for the snow storm that will never arrive.

Here he is after our morning walk: winter hat, winter boots and a winter hat all fit for a winter in Wisconsin … it was only 55 degrees outside.
