Do you remember these hilarious “Mug Shots” we had done for Dexter’s visa a few years ago? (here)
Well, he was do for another round and he did not disappoint!
As a little background to these photos, the passport and immigration offices in Mexico are extremely particular about the photos. We once had Alex’s passport photos rejected because her skin tone in the photo did not match her skin tone in person.
We had a big enough challenge just trying to meet the photo requirements (hair pulled back, eyes focused on the camera, face exactly forward, not even slightly turned, etc.), but then we were trying to apply these rules to a 2 year old. It was a recipe for disaster and after an hour we just gave up.
Here’s how it all went down:
Certain we could make one of those work, we decided to forge ahead and try the side-shot:
After over an hour of trying, we realized we were only failing more and more and … more.
So the next morning we took him to a professional and in FIVE MINUTES he got these perfect two pictures:
He’s darling in all of them!!!
That is hilarious!!
